I understand that running a road race is/could be a hazardous activity, which may cause personal injury or even death. I verify that I am medically fit and properly trained to enter and compete in this event. I agree to abide by decisions of the race officials relating to my ability to safely compete in this event. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event which are not limited to traffic, heat, humidity, conditions of roads/bridges, etc. I, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf waive/release, Karen’s Closet, Leominster Education Foundation, City of Leominster, Leominster Police, all sponsors and their representatives, event staff and volunteers, from all claims and/or liabilities of any kind arising from my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. Enter in signing this form, I agree to assume all responsibility for all risk or injury that may occur to me while traveling to, from or while running/walking and attending the listed activities.
